Lane Thaut, DO

Lane Thaut, DO, is a Board-Certified Emergency Medicine Physician at Minit Medical Urgent Care and Physical Therapy. Dr. Thaut provides comprehensive and well-rounded care for locals and tourists of all ages at their clinics in Kihei, Kahului, and Lahaina, Hawaii. 

Dr. Thaut and the team were named one of Hawaii’s Top Doctors and are proud to serve the Maui community. He has practiced in multiple emergency departments and holds active state licenses in 37 states, including California, Colorado, Alaska, Texas, and Hawaii. 

Dr. Thaut is a distinguished United States Air Force Academy graduate who attended Rocky Vista University College of Osteopathic Medicine (RVUCOM) in Parker, Colorado.

As Chief Resident, he completed an internship and residency in emergency medicine in San Antonio, Texas, at San Antonio Military Medical Center (SAMMC). He then relocated to Northern California, where he worked in emergency departments in Vacaville, Vallejo, Fairfield, and Woodland.

At present, Dr. Thaut continues to practice in Emergency Departments on Molokai and Big Island
