Daniel was born and raised in rural Northern California. He received an A.S. Degree in Math/Science from Lassen College in Susanville CA in 1985. He then moved to Missouri where he received a Diploma in Nursing from Barnes Hospital School of Nursing in 1989. He worked as an RN with Barnes-Jewish Hospital for the next 11 years as staff nurse, Resource Nurse, and finally Assistant Clinical Manager of their Level 1 Trauma center ER. During this time he also pursued and in 1994 received a Master of Science in Health Management from Lindenwood University in St. Charles Mo. In 2000 he moved to Maui where he worked in the ER for 4 years while completing his Master of Science in Nursing/Family Nurse Practitioner program at Hawaii Pacific University in 2004. He then worked the next 14 years as a Nurse Practitioner in Family Practice and Urgent care in Upcountry Maui before joining our Minit Medical Team in early 2019.
